He was a member of the Audit Committee and Chaired the Independent Directors Committee. He has served as an Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association as a consultant for numerous technology companies. He also served as a partner at a technology company and as speaker at numerous industry conferences. Mr. Miller has served on committees for the National Fire Protection Act and as speaker at Defence Advance Research Projects Agency (DARPA). His technology company was nominated for the NOZKO Award for Excellence in Management, presented by the University of Connecticut School of Business.

Attorney MIller is retired from the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary where he serves as a Assistant District Staff Officer for Communications. Mr. Miller is a member of Botsford Fire and Rescue where he serves as a Fire Police Officer, exterior fire fighter and as a licensed Emergency Medical Responder.
